Installation

For instructions on installing simtools and its components, see the Getting Started guide. All required software, including CORSIKA, sim_telarray, and simtools, is available as pre-built container images. A full list of simtools applications is provided in the Applications section.

Main Use Cases

• Generate simulated events: Configure and run large-scale productions of simulated event data.

• Manage simulation models and parameters: Derive, validate, and maintain simulation models and associated parameters.

• Simulate calibration data: Produce calibration datasets, including artificial light sources and pedestal events.
